<description>As a retired Army Sergeant Major, I commend you on you election to the council.
I have lived here for for and a half years. While several important improvements have happened, there are stil a couple fo total eyesores in Crestview that really make it "small toen".
The old rusted warehouse behind the Nationwide Insurance office on N. Ferdon was finaly demolished. A great improvement. But in the process, it exposed the pile of concrete that must have been a dispoasl for road waste at one time. That is now taken to Eglin along highway 123.
The second and most disturbing eyesore in Crestview in the "For sale by owner" lot next to Publix. If that doesn't make Crestview look like a backwards country town, nothing does.
I only want the best for our town and I understand big things are coming, but it only takes one bad thing to undermine all the good things.
Good luck in your terrn as councilman.
